Latest winners of Powerball drawings sold at East, West Valley stores

Powerball tickets worth $170,000 were sold recently at two stores in Mesa and Goodyear.

A ticket for the Oct. 12 drawing, which matched four out of five numbers plus the Powerball and a 3X multiplier, was purchased inside the QuikTrip at 1141 S. Crismon Road in Mesa. It was worth $150,000, Arizona Lottery officials said.

A $20,000 winner for Powerball Xs & Os was purchased at the Winco Foods, 15581 W. McDowell Road, Goodyear.

Monday’s winning Powerball numbers were 22, 28, 38, 51, 69 and Powerball number 9 and Power Play number 3. The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday, Oct. 14, with an estimated jackpot of $562 million. 

Sunday’s winning Powerball Xs & Os teams were ARI, DEN, DET, MIA, MIN, NYG, TEN and WAS. The next Powerball Xs & Os drawing is Sunday, Oct. 18, with an estimated jackpot of $1.7 million, lottery officials said.
