The possibility of a public pool for south Gilbert is not dead yet.
The pool will be part of the town’s capital improvement plan for 2025-34, a reference to the next 10 fiscal years. The plan’s document, which town officials said won’t be published until August or September, compiles summaries of all the town’s planned capital improvement projects for the next 10 years, including costs, funding sources and short descriptions.
The project, as well as one for a South Gilbert recreation center, are not included in the capital improvement plan for 2024-33.
