Riparian After Dark will return to the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch this December, featuring light displays along more than a mile of paved, accessible trails.

The event runs nightly from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 12 through Dec. 22. Visitors can walk through illuminated trees and seasonal installations at the preserve, located at 2757 E. Guadalupe Road.

Tickets are $5 per person online and $10 at the gate, as space allows. Children 3 and under are free. Online ticket sales close daily at 4:30 p.m. The last entry time slot is 8:30 p.m., and no entry is allowed after 8:45 p.m.

Parking is available in the Southeast Regional Library lot. The preserve’s main lot closes at 4 p.m. on event nights.

Warm drinks and treats will be sold by local vendors each night, and food trucks will be on-site during weekends.
