It is an honor to write a recognition of the time that I have spent working under the supervision of Claudia Mendoza. Her leadership, caring, and authentic nature set her apart.

Claudia gives of herself tirelessly, and her steadfast support of her staff, as well as her students, has created a community of positivity and acceptance, where everyone has been able to flourish. She is committed to the happiness and well being of her staff, students, and the larger school community.

Her attention to detail and unwavering efforts to ensure that everyone is supported, and that the achievements of those who work with her are acknowledged, is unmatched. Simply put, Claudia always takes notice of the small things that really matter, where others might let them go unnoticed. She values others, and that paired with her natural energy and vibrance, creates a culture that is unrivaled.

Claudia's professionalism is always paired with a realistic view and authentic caring towards others. The lasting impact that she has made in the lives of hundreds of staff members, and thousands of students, is a true marker of the amazing person she is and the hard work and dedication that she puts into every facet of her career and relationships with others.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a committed and talented principal, and can not speak highly enough of her merit and integrity. Her loyalty, competence, and ethics are the gold standard for what others in her position should strive to achieve.
