Gilbert, Higley school boards to review finances, curriculum, safety

The governing boards of two of the school districts serving Gilbert will meet Tuesday with annual financial reports on bot hagendas and Gilbert Public Schools also considering curriculum purchases, school safety and policy changes.

Higley Unified School District will meet at 10 a.m., while Gilbert Public Schools will begin a series of meetings at 5 p.m.

Both districts face an Oct. 15 state deadline to submit their annual financial reports for fiscal year 2026, which ended June 30.
