HUSD Mandarin students earn honors at state event

Higley Unified School District Mandarin students earned multiple awards at the annual Arizona Chinese Speech Competition at Arizona State University.

Students from Coronado Elementary School, Sossaman Middle School and Higley High School were among nearly 130 competitors representing 40 schools statewide. Participants competed in Mandarin speech, impromptu Q&A and on-site storytelling.
