Glen Canyon Exposed, an exhibition by photographer and filmmaker Dawn Kish, is on display Oct. 17-Feb. 20 at Gallery 4 in HD South in downtown Gilbert.

The exhibition pairs contemporary photographs by Kish with images captured in the 1950s by photographer Tad Nichols before the construction of Glen Canyon Dam and the creation of Lake Powell.

Kish used the same camera Nichols carried on his river expeditions, creating a visual dialogue between the canyon's past and present.
