Higley Unified School District has entered into a six-year lease agreement allowing AZ Aspire Academy to lease classroom and playground space at Power Ranch Elementary School beginning this summer.
District officials said the agreement will generate revenue for the district while using unused space on the campus and supporting special education students already served through the district’s partnership with Aspire.
The lease, approved unanimously by the governing board May 5, covers about 16,200 square feet at Power Ranch Elementary and includes dedicated classroom space and a fenced playground area.
