Students from the Gilbert Elementary Kindness & Service Club will install kindness-themed posters and offer complimentary postcards in the Heritage District this month in recognition of National Random Acts of Kindness Day on Feb. 17.
The posters are scheduled to be installed Feb. 12 along Gilbert Road on light poles and parking garages. Additional displays are planned for Veterans Park and Page Park. The posters are expected to remain on display through Feb. 20.
Three Heritage District businesses will also host student-designed postcards that visitors may send to friends or family at no cost. Heritage District–branded mailboxes will be available at Joyride Taco House, 302 N. Gilbert Road, Unit 101; Liberty Market, 230 N. Gilbert Road; and Joe’s Real BBQ, 301 N. Gilbert Road.
