The 22nd annual Gilbert Visual Arts League Juried Art Show and Sale will have its opening reception 2-4 p.m. March 30 at HD South. 

The show will run from March 30-May 3 with art available for sale.

Art for the show is selected by a professional juror and the show judge selects the winners and Best In Show.  The juror for this show is Trevor Swenson, who grew up in Arizona and is an oil painter on canvas and patina metal surfaces of landscapes and wild life.

A selection of submitted pieces will be available for viewing in Gallery 4 at HD South.  All pieces can be viewed online at www.gval.org . 

The show will include more than 80 pieces of assorted works — painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture.   

HD South partners with GVAL, which is a nonprofit group that offers a venue for local artists to show their work. 

Admission to Gallery 4 is included in the price of museum admission.
