Gilbert will host a mobile drop-off event for household hazardous waste, document shredding, glass recycling and donations from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Gilbert Public Works Department, 900 E. Juniper Ave.
For one day, the town’s Household Hazardous Waste Facility will move to the site, offering residents a drive‑through option for disposing of items that require special handling and are not accepted through curbside collection. Staff will unload items from vehicle trunks, and educational booths will be available along the route.
The Gilbert Police Department will also hold its annual document‑shredding service, offering free, secure shredding for up to five boxes per vehicle. Residents are asked to remove folders, binder clips and any metal or plastic materials beforehand.
