Gilbert mayor looks to future in final 'State of the Town' address

Gilbert Mayor Brigette Peterson highlighted the town’s commitment to innovation, technology and community April 23 in her final State of the Town address.   

Peterson said she wished to use her final address as a chance to showcase Gilbert’s commitment to the future rather than look to the past. 

“As we look ahead, it's critical that we embrace the realities of our future, the change inherent from our growth, to be prepared to better serve and meet the needs of our town,” Peterson said.
