Students, families and community leaders gathered at Villa Sienna in Gilbert for a National Civics Bee competition that highlighted civic knowledge and engagement among local youth.
The event was hosted by The Civic Trust in partnership with the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Foundation and supported by Arizona Public Service as presenting sponsor, along with the town of Gilbert.
Organizers said the competition aimed to encourage civic participation and strengthen understanding of government and community involvement among students.
