Gilbert pulls Regional Park revote from council agenda, plans November discussion

Gilbert Town Council did not revisit its $55.7 million construction approval for Gilbert Regional Park on Oct. 20 after Mayor Scott Anderson announced the item was being removed from the agenda.

The proposed reconsideration of the Sept. 15 vote had been requested by Councilmember Bobbi Buchli, who supported the original approval of the park's second construction phase.

Instead, Anderson announced plans for a Nov. 17 study session involving parties interested in a potential public-private partnership for the park.
