GPS educators earn statewide world language honors

Gilbert Public Schools celebrated its dual lanaguage educators who recently won awards.

Four Gilbert Public Schools educators were recognized by the district's governing board for honors received at the Arizona Language Association Fall Conference.

Vanessa Molina, a kindergarten dual language immersion teacher at Gilbert Elementary School, received the Outstanding World Language Teacher at the Elementary Level award.

Dora Wagener, a Japanese language teacher at Mesquite High School and Campo Verde High School, was honored as Outstanding World Language Teacher at the Secondary Level.
