The town of Gilbert will hold its annual Gilbert Feeding Families Food Drive from Feb. 9 through Feb. 22 to support local families in need.

Town officials said donations are especially important as Arizona food banks face increased demand following the holiday season.

Residents can donate nonperishable food items at participating schools, businesses and churches. Online cash donations are also accepted and go directly to a local food bank.
