The Gilbert Public Schools Governing Board approved a three-year employment agreement for incoming Superintendent Dr. Jared Ryan on March 31, finalizing compensation, benefits and expectations for the district’s next leader.
The contract runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, and places Ryan as the district’s chief executive officer, responsible for overseeing operations, implementing board goals and managing the district’s strategic direction.
Ryan’s compensation package is anchored by a $240,000 annual base salary, with additional performance-based pay tied to board-approved goals. That incentive pay begins at 5% of his salary in the first year, increases to 7.5% in the second year and reaches 10% in the third year if performance benchmarks are met.
