Gilbert council to consider bond issuances

Gilbert could be ready to embark on several of its "quality of life" capital improvement projects as the town council meets Tuesday.

The council will consider a resolution authorizing the reimbursement of capital expenditures from bond proceeds related to the construction of the capital projects.

Those projects include the proposed Riparian Education Center, the next phases of Gilbert Regional and Desert Sky parks, a pickleball complex and splash pad at Freestone Park, work on a number of fire and police facilities and the Gilbert Advocacy Center, and the Ocotillo Bridge.
