One of the few symphony orchestra events in Chandler in February will be held at a church.

The Chandler Symphony Orchestra's Chamber Music Series moves to the Risen Savior Lutheran Church Worship Center, 23620 S. Alma School Road in south Chandler, for a 3 p.m. performance Sunday, Feb. 16.

Chuck Stewart, who is organizing these concerts this season, has put together a program of larger chamber ensembles. He'll conduct a small string orchestra, performing Grieg's Holberg Suite, Mozart's Serenade No. 11 in E-flat for woodwinds and horns, and Dvořák's Wind Serenade for woodwinds, horns, cello and bass.

There is no charge for admission, though donations will be gratefully accepted.

Donations can be made by cash or check at concerts or online anytime at chandlersymphony.com. Also, donation checks can be mailed to CSO at P.O. Box 6475, Chandler, AZ, 85246.

IRA funds can also be used to send a donation from an account to CSO. Contact treasurer Catherine Nowell at c.nowell@chandlersymphony.com for CSO's tax ID number required for these transactions.
