Chandler school board OKs fee increases

Hamilton High School students prepare to perform at halftime of a September 2024 football game. Fees for some competitive performing arts and athletic clubs for Chandler Unified junior high schools will be as much as $100 and as much as $400 per season for high schools in 2025-26, with the CUSD Governing Board approving a yearly fee schedule at its May 7 meeting.

Chandler Unified’s Governing Board met for nearly four hours May 7.

A vote was only taken three times: for a pair of budget procedural measures and a consent agenda.

The consent agenda for the board’s regular meeting includes fee schedules for 2025-26. Some of the upcoming year’s increases are expected and nominal.
