The Chandler International Film Festival has announced it will be attempting to break a Guiness world record for the largest display of movie posters.

The attempt will be taking place during the ninth annual Chandler International Film Festival on Sunday, Feb. 2 at LOOK Dine-in Cinema, located at 1 W. Chandler Blvd. in Chandler.

The display will feature more than 1,300 movie posters, showcasing films that have been screened at the festival in previous years.

The 10-day festival will celebrate various multi-cultural days with different dedicated themes centering Asian, Indian, Pan-African, Latino, and European cultures. Guests can enjoy a variety of programming throughout the week including nightly after parties in Downtown Chandler, workshops with industry professionals, panel discussions, networking opportunities, celebrity appearances, a Hollywood-style red carpet, and an award ceremony.

Films selected to show at CIFF will be announced in the coming weeks. For more information, visit chandlerfilmfestival.com, check the Facebook page @ChandlerFilmFest or Instagram page @ChandlerFilmFestival.
