Chandler's Code Enforcement academy is for residents

Three sessions planned in June

Chandler’s Code Enforcement Resident Academy returns this June for another three-week session.

Launched earlier this year, the program is designed to educate Chandler residents about the city’s code enforcement process and empower them to maintain safe, clean and attractive neighborhoods.

Sessions will be held on Wednesday, June 11; Wednesday, June 18; and Thursday, June 26, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the ASU Chandler Innovation Center, 249 E. Chicago St.

The free academy offers participants a behind-the-scenes look at how Chandler’s Code Enforcement team works, highlighting topics such as property maintenance, common code violations, and how the city works to uphold community standards.

Attendees also will learn how to report issues and actively contribute to neighborhood preservation.

For more information and to register, click here. Residents who attend all three sessions will be entered into a prize drawing.

Residents can also contact Erica Barba of the Neighborhood Resources Department for more information at 480-782-4328.

We invite our readers to submit their civil comments on this topic. Email AZOpinions@iniusa.org.
