On Saturday, March 22, after the televised NHRA races at Firebird Motorsports Park, Wild Horse Pass in Chandler will be hosting the “Off the Track” concert, headlined by Arizona native and longtime rock performer Alice Cooper.
The 4 p.m. concert will be held at the Wild Horse Pass Festival Grounds, 19593 S. 48th St., Chandler, near I-10 and Loop 202. The venue is located between Firebird Motorsports Park and Rawhide Western Town.
Known for the hits “School’s Out,” “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” "Poison” and “I’m Eighteen,” Cooper has hosted the nightly “Alice’s Attic” syndicated classic rock radio show. He also continues to tour with the likes of Rob Zombie and others.
The March 22 opening act will be hard rock veteran band Buckcherry. General admission starts at $69. VIP tickets start at $145.
Military and Gila River Indian Community member tickets are $59.
A portion of the alcohol sales revenue from the event will be benefitting the Chemo Companions nonprofit, according to a news release.
