Chandler Unified School District earned a districtwide A grade for the 2025-26 school year, with 35 schools receiving A ratings, marking the highest number of A-rated schools in district history.

The achievement reflects student performance, academic growth and other accountability measures evaluated by the Arizona Department of Education.

The state's school and district accountability system considers factors including academic growth, proficiency in English language arts, mathematics and science, English learner progress, college and career readiness indicators, and graduation rates.

Arizona's second-largest school district, Chandler Unified serves approximately 38,000 students across 48 schools and educational campuses. District officials said the results reflect the work of students, educators and staff across traditional, nontraditional and alternative learning environments.

The district also highlighted broader measures of student achievement. The Class of 2026 earned $156.8 million in scholarships, and Chandler Unified students have received recognition as National Merit Finalists, Flinn Scholars and AP Scholars.

District officials said the results demonstrate the range of educational opportunities available to families through the district's traditional and alternative academic programs.
