Street League Skateboarding, known as SLS, returned to Arizona for Stop 4 of the 2026 Championship Tour, bringing a sold-out crowd to Arizona State University's Mullett Arena for the SLS Tempe Takeover presented by Stake.
The event marked a homecoming for SLS, returning to the state where the inaugural SLS event took place 16 years ago. In front of a sold out arena, the world’s best skateboarders delivered insane performances, feeding off the energy of the crowd as they celebrated the history, progression and future of street skateboarding.
The day kicked off with the Wildcard Jam, giving skaters an opportunity to earn a spot in the Men’s Final. Arizona native Lazer Crawford and Tyson Bowerbank rose to the occasion, securing the two wildcard spots and earning their places in the Men’s Final.
