Slug Bug, hailing from Tempe, is an indie jangle, garage rock band known for their merges of styles from stinging guitar riffs reminiscent of '90s grunge to a vocal style combining the grit of the 60s with the spirit of the 2000s, according to a city release.
SCHPILT, the second band scheduled, released their first album in 2023 blending pysch rock, indie and alternative into a unique sound.
This Performances at the Museum event is presented outdoors in the Museum Plaza. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket for this free outdoor concert, the release stated.
Save the date for the next Performances at the Museum event, scheduled for April 26: Tessa Karrys, an Arizona-based singer-songwriter and performer, known for her soulful voice and heartfelt original songs.
