The public is welcome to attend, and doors open at 5:30 p.m., a city release explained. The event is scheduled for 6-7 p.m.

A special ceremony will honor future military members of the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and Arizona Army National Guard.

Attendees will be entertained by the East Valley Harmonizers Barbershop Chorus, and vintage military vehicles will be on display for photo opportunities, the release noted.
