The Arizona Board of Regents will meet virtually Thursday, March 14, to consider several matters, including a reduction in the salary of the University of Arizona president and officially designating an interim chief financial officer at UA.
Late last year, UArizona found itself with a $177 million budget shortfall, and its chief financial officer resigned. UA President Robert Robbins' salary is expected to be slashed by 10% with other compensation also eliminated.
The board also is scheduled to appoint a new chair to the ABOR among other items, according to a release.
The regents will meet in executive session beginning 8:30 a.m. with the public session set to start at 9:40 a.m., the release stated.
