The development plan — including the site plan, building elevations and landscape plan — for a seven-story Packard Hotel with 170 rooms is to be reviewed Wednesday by a Tempe committee.
The Joint Review Committee meets at 6 p.m. Aug. 5 in the Harry E. Mitchell Government Center at Tempe City Hall’s City Council Chambers, 31 E. Fifth St. in Tempe.
The proposed building will have a maximum height of 95 feet. Building materials consist of glazing, exterior insulation and finish systems, stone veneer and metal panels. The hotel at 757 E. Packard Drive will also have a fitness center, meeting space and second-story terrace pool, according to a Tempe staff report.
