The West Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce ushered in a new era of leadership during its annual meeting, naming 15-year West Valley resident Megan Word as the incoming chair of its board of directors.
Word, who serves as the vice president of marketing with Sun Health, took over the gavel from outgoing chair Brian Ellison during a transitional event that marked the fifth anniversary of Chamber President and CEO Jeffrey Campos.
"The West Valley isn't just where I work. It's where I've lived for the past 15 years," Word told the audience of local business owners, city managers, and municipal leaders. "I've watched it grow, evolve, and strengthen, and that deep personal connection fuels my commitment to this chamber."
