There were no gifts under a tree at the new Desert Diamond Casino White Tanks at San Lucy when it opened its doors Wednesday off Loop 303.
But West Valley gamers certainly felt the Christmas spirit a little early when the Valley’s newest casino officially welcomed gamblers and fans of fine dining.
About 1,100 VIPs and members of the Tohono O’odham Nation were the first customers inside the doors of the $450 million project near Northern Parkway and Loop 303, and they went straight for the slot machines, game tables and food court.
