Surprise residents Cheryl and Wayne Court recently had a storybook courtship and marriage — and it all started by chance in a cafeteria.
Cheryl had been a resident at Holiday Vista de la Montana Senior Living, an all-inclusive, independent living community at 18510 N. Parkview Place, for a little over a year when she noticed Wayne out and about the facility.
One day, though, she walked into the dining room to eat and saw him sitting at a table by himself, which was odd to her because normally he ate with a couple of women she had become friends with at Vista de la Montana.
