The Vitalant Blood Donation center, 12515 W Bell Road, Suite 100, in Surprise, seeks daily blood donations to maintain a blood supply and meet ongoing patient needs.
Many of the needs are for trauma and burn patients, premature infants, heart surgery patients, organ transplant recipients and people fighting cancer, all of whom may require blood transfusions for care.
Since the need for blood is constant, healthy individuals are asked to make blood donation part of a regular routine to help meet the ongoing needs of patients facing illness or injury.
