The most detailed updates at the Dysart Unified School District governing board meeting came from a student council representative, Maddie Klemmer.
Board President Stephen Skvara and board member MaryJane Ziola were absent from the Oct. 26 meeting, leaving Dawn Densmore, Jennifer Drake and Denise Destiche to conduct the school district’s business.
Klemmer gave a recap of the recent high school happenings, including the homecoming activities that were a success at every school and upcoming events. She mentioned students represented the district during the recent three-day 75th anniversary festivities for El Mirage, which had a parade Oct. 24.
