Several Surprise parks closing for repairs, upgrades

Pickleball courts, dog park, splash pad among affected

A series of Surprise parks are either in the midst of maintenance and improvements or planned for upgrades, resulting in some closures throughout the next month.

Work is affecting The Fields at Countryside, the Surprise Pickleball Courts, Surprise Community Park Dog Park and the Rescue Oasis Park and Splash Pad.

City officials said the closures will “ensure our public spaces remain safe, attractive and accessible for all residents and visitors.”
