The first in-person meeting to give feedback for the city of Surprise’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan update is set for this weekend.
Surprise residents can tell city officials which park and recreation amenities matter most to them as the city updated the original 2013 plan to align with the Surprise 2040 general plan. The meeting is set for 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Community Room of the Oasis Swim Center, 12361 N. Perryville Road.
The city is working on the updated plan, it said to “ensure our parks, open spaces and recreation facilities continue to meet the needs of our growing community.”
