Another piece to the Prasada puzzle is opening this week, and some of its first customers can pick up free gifts.

Popular clothing retailer Old Navy is ready to welcome customers with a grand opening at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23 at Prasada North, 14059 N. Prasada Parkway.

A ribbon cutting with company and city dignitaries is planned for 10 minutes prior to the doors opening.

To celebrate the opening, the store team will be raffling off three gift baskets, with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club of the Valley. They will also offer a free gift to the first 100 people who visit the store during the grand opening.

The Surprise location is one of the 10 company-owned stores that are planned to open in 2025. It will have more than 10,000 square feet of dedicated retail space and allow Surprise residents to not have to drive to Old Navy and Old Navy Outlet locations in Peoria, Glendale, Goodyear, Avondale or Phoenix.

Store officials said Old Navy aims to sell clothes for the entire family.

“Old Navy is deeply committed to being part of the fabric of the communities we serve,” company officials wrote in a news release. “Our brand has partnered with Boys and Girls Clubs of America for decades to provide opportunities for kids and teens in need of mentorship and job training through the This Way ONward Program.”
