Business: Strategic Impact Partners

What made you choose this line of work and why is it important or interesting to you? After nearly two decades in the corporate world and then a successful photography business focused on body image and self-acceptance, I felt called to something bigger. I wanted to help businesses — not just individuals — be seen for who they truly are. Strategic Impact Partners was born from that mission. We elevate companies by aligning their visibility with their values and telling their real story through powerful visuals, strategy, and executive presence. It’s important because in today’s noisy world, people crave authenticity. I believe the most impactful leaders and brands are the ones who dare to show up R.E.A.L. — Rooted, Evolving, Aligned, and Layered.

What do you like most about what you do? I love helping leaders and teams feel proud of how they show up in the world. Whether it’s capturing a CEO’s story through photography or guiding a company through a visibility strategy that reflects their culture and impact, it’s about amplifying what’s already good and real. Seeing people light up when they see themselves — or their business — represented authentically is deeply rewarding.

What separates you from your competition? We don’t just take photos or create content — we help businesses become visible with intention. SIP is a strategic partner, not just a service provider. We offer photography, yes —and we also serve as strategic consultants. If needed, we can also serve as a company’s fractional chief visibility officer. Everything we do is rooted in our R.E.A.L. Leadership framework, helping clients show up as they truly are, connect with their audience, and lead with authenticity.

What is a challenging aspect of your job? Helping clients unlearn outdated ideas about visibility, like that it’s just about posting a photo to prove you were there, or that they have to present a “perfect” version of themselves. Visibility isn’t about being flashy or polished — it’s about being real, consistent, and aligned with your values. The challenge is shifting those mindsets, but once it clicks, the transformation is incredible.

What civic groups, clubs, organizations or causes do you or your business support? SIP proudly donates pro bono photography hours each year to a nonprofit whose mission aligns with ours. This year, we’re partnering with Arouet, which supports women and families impacted by the justice system. Personally, I’ve served as chapter president of The Dames Greater Phoenix Chapter, and I’m active in organizations that support women in business and leadership, such as the YWCA, WATT and NAWBO. Community is at the heart of what we do.

What advice would you give to someone contemplating starting their own business? You don’t need permission from anyone but yourself. Trust your instincts, know your values, and build something that feels aligned with who you truly are — not who you think you’re supposed to be. And surround yourself with other bold, generous entrepreneurs — you’re not meant to do this alone.

If you had picked a different occupation, it might have been? An architect. As a kid, I would spend hours drawing house designs and dreaming up floor plans — I loved the idea of creating something with intention and beauty from the ground up. Looking back, it makes perfect sense. Today, I help businesses design the way they show up in the world—with the same blend of strategy, creativity, and purpose.

What is your advice to today’s youth? You don’t have to have it all figured out. Let your path unfold. Stay curious, stay kind, and don’t be afraid to evolve. The world needs more people who are willing to lead with their hearts and their smarts. Be real. Be you.
