Scores of people and pets wore Halloween costumes to the G.A.I.N. Night on Saturday at Mark Coronado Park, 15960 N. Bullard Ave.
Held annually, numerous public safety representatives in the city of Surprise dressed in their fire, police and S.W.A.T uniforms for a show-and-tell opportunity for residents to learn how they keep the community safe. The Surprise Police and Fire-Medical Departments hosted the pre-Halloween event 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct 17.
The family friendly function drew a crowd of all ages to participate in making memories, and gathering information in one setting about community outreach and safety education at G.A.I.N (Getting Arizonans Involved in Neighborhoods) Night.
