The Surprise Resource Center and Senior Center will have extended closures this holiday season.

Both centers will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24 through Thursday, Dec. 26. They will reopen starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 27.

Due to the closure, Senior Center activities and the in-person congregate meal program will not be available. However, members may take advantage of one of the food options below.

Order frozen meals ahead of time for all three days and pick them up at the Surprise Senior Center on Monday, Dec. 23. Call 623-222-1500 or order in person no later than noon on Thursday, Dec. 19.

Attend the in-person meal program on Dec. 24 and 26 at the El Mirage Senior Center, 14010 N. El Mirage Road. Meal service begins at 11 a.m.

Meals must be ordered one day in advance by calling 623-876-4232. The suggested contribution is $3 per meal.
