Butterfly workshop returning to Surprise Water Center

Learn how to attract butterflies and other pollinators to backyards at the next butterfly workshop at the Surprise Water Center.

Master gardener Shawna Dempsey will lead attendees to discover which plants butterflies choose for nectar and which caterpillars need to grow.

It’s scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Surprise Water Education Center, 16126 N. Civic Center Plaza.
