Surprise resident to play in Sun City West concert

Surprise resident to play in Sun City West concert

Saxophonist Gary Tschudy will perform in the “Song of the South” spring concert presented by the Westernaires Chorus of Sun City West from April 5 to 8 at the Stardust Theater, 14401 W. R.H. Johnson Blvd.

Tschudy is a native of Little Falls, Minnesota.

He taught grade school, middle school, high school and college bands for more than 30 years and has performed with standard, rock and jazz groups since age 15. He performs locally with the Surprise Pops, Sun City Concert Band and the Swing Time quartet.

Tschudy and his wife, Dorie, reside in Surprise.
