The Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court 2278, Our Lady of Lourdes, held a fashion show April 20, with the theme “April in the Desert.”
Centerpieces were handmade cactus plants made by Cathy Young and there was an array of freshly made salads provided by the Catholic Daughters catering team. Lemon cake and cheesecake with blackberries were the dessert.
There were also basket and 50/50 sales and the clothes from New Image Fashions were available for purchase.
Monthly court meetings are 9:30 a.m. the third Wednesday of each month in Madonna Hall of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 19002 N. 128th Ave.
