OPINION — The feedback from dog walkers just reinforces my opinion on how people think they are entitled to do whatever they want, regardless of what law or moral and ethical values they break.
To the person that said I should enjoy the amenities here and not worry about (in their minds) trivial things: Please review the story of the Ant and the Grasshopper. It’s old-school like old people.
To the person that said to put a sign in my front yard, the CC&R rules do not allow any signs except maybe house for sale signs.
Also, dogs are legally property, not family members.
To the person that made the statement about howling animals, it was not in our original letter. That is totally different than a barking dog. Also, wild animals run free; they are not on a leash; dogs should be.
We as people need rules, laws and structure because without them there will be chaos. Always be civil!
