Church members helping, comforting those in need

Crown of Life uses money raised to make additional quilts

The Crown of Life Lutheran Church quilting group has been busy throughout the year and is now prepared for the upcoming quilt and craft sale.

The sale is 8 a.m.-noon Friday, Nov. 6, at Crown of Life Lutheran Church, 13131 W. Spanish Garden Drive.

The church has had a quilting ministry for almost 20 years and member Val Vanness said the group follows the teaching of Jesus Christ to give help and comfort to those in need.
