Sun City West reader frustrated by tattered political signs

OPINION — I am frustrated and question why the responsible parties of the political signs put up prior to elections don’t remove the signs immediately after the voting ends.

This is a trashy eyesore, in my opinion. Over time the signs break or are torn by the heavy winds and sun rot. Not to mention they often block views at the street corners, which impedes our safety.

I wonder if the Sun City West community could adopt a bylaw prohibiting political signs in our community? People could still be allowed to distribute flyers and hold signs at the polling places, but that’s it.
