Sun City Foundation officials partnered with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office to keep residents educated on the latest scams victimizing individuals and ways to protect themselves.
Sun City West Foundation Marketing Coordinator Teresa Brown said this organization is working behind the scenes to help organizations around the community “do what they do.” The organization gives away more than $92,000 in free space for organizations a year. Part of the service work includes a scams presentation.
Kevin Brozek, community engagement officer at Arizona Attorney General’s Office, said in Arizona online and romance scams are two that hit residents the hardest.
