The “Soups On” ministry of Church on the Green, previously known as "The Soup Kitchen," 19051 N. R.H. Johnson Blvd., returns on Thursday, Sept. 3, and will continue weekly on Thursdays through May 2027.
“Soups On” provides a nutritious soup lunch in the church’s dining room from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Everyone is welcome and there is no cost for this meal. Donations are accepted.
The food is prepared by Church on the Green’s Chef Kathy and her group of volunteers. She not only serves a variety of soups but adds the makings of a full meal, which includes side dishes, salads, homemade rolls and desserts.
