The Kris Krafters and the Willowbrook United Methodist Church outreach committee are co-hosting a community event as part of the church’s 50th anniversary celebration 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, in the Fellowship Hall, 19390 N. 99th Drive.
Kris Krafter Gerri Joncas said the group participates in the fall Holidaze Craft Faire but has never been able to hold an event in the spring.
“We thought it would be fun to be able to have our members make things that aren’t for winter, make things for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, the patriotic holidays and everything,” she said. “It morphed into wanting to do a community open house.”
