Sun City West softball super fan celebrates 100th birthday

This softball super fan was always in the stands to support her daughter Christie Nunes. Now, Doris Waldron is being celebrated on her 100th birthday. She recently reached the century mark Oct. 6 and celebrated with family, friends and a party.

Every five years for the past 10 years, Nunes said they have had a party for her.

“She was overwhelmed by the number of people that came to celebrate her and it was so special,” she said.
